On September 14-15, the IX Federal Forum on IT and Digital Technologies of the Oil and Gas Industry of Russia Smart Oil & Gas 2023 was held in St. Petersburg. Top analysts from the Center for Strategic Research in Energy and Digital Economy of the Moscow Institute of Energy Policy and Information Technologies, including a delegation from Simpl, took part in the Forum.
The main goal of the Smart Oil & Gas 2023 forum was to demonstrate new solutions from domestic IT companies for import substitution of software in the oil and gas industry. Simpl , as a leader in IT solutions in the industry, was awarded two significant awards at once.
As part of the Forum’s business program, plenary discussions were held with the participation of the management of the largest oil and gas companies, sessions were organized on “Digital Technologies in Logistics”, “Digital Plant”, “Digital Transformation of Exploration and Production”, “Corporate Communication Networks – a Trend for Domestic Solutions”, reports were presented on the problems of meeting the industry’s needs for information and digital technologies, issues of implementing artificial intelligence technologies and a digital twin, and etc.
During the forum, promising ideas and proposals from domestic IT companies were put forward in response to the departure of global IT companies from the Russian market, and corporate information systems, data management systems and IT products were presented.
Simpl became the winner in 2 nominations at once in the prestigious competition “Best Digital Solutions for the Oil and Gas Industry”, as a part of the IX Federal Forum on IT and Digital Technologies of the Oil and Gas Industry of Russia Smart Oil & Gas 2023. In the nominations “Best Solution in the Field of Digital Security”, “Best Solution Using Digital Twins of Processes”.
“The best digital solutions” competition annually highlights customers and contractors of the most significant projects in the field of digital technologies, IT and industrial automation, introducing innovations both to the work of individual companies in the industry and to the country’s economy as a whole.
