Simpl Group presented key IT solutions for the energy sector at the Russian International Energy Forum, participating in two strategic sessions. Participation in this major industry event was an important opportunity for the team to share digitalization practices and discuss key challenges facing the energy sector.
The first session, “Digitalization of Energy: Software for New Challenges,” was organized with the support of the RUSSOFT Association. Simpl Product Director Anna Fedoseeva gave a presentation on the role of trust and engagement in successful digital transformation. The discussion focused on the path from idea to implementation, when the developer and customer act as a single team.
“The biggest mistake is to think that digitalization begins with implementation. It all starts with trust and deep involvement of the parties in joint work. Only in this way can IT projects become truly relevant and bring tangible benefits to the business,” Anna noted.
In the second session, “Technological Sovereignty in Power Generation Equipment,” Alexey Ignatyev, Simpl’s energy project manager, gave a presentation. He introduced the Simpl.Generation module, a solution for managing in-house power generation that has already been implemented at one of the largest oil and gas companies. Alexey spoke in detail about the practical use of the system and showed how dispatchers work with the module. He discussed the tasks they perform every day and the changes that occur after long-term use of the system.
Alexey also emphasized the importance of implementing optimization solutions at the equipment manufacturing stage. In 2025, leaving energy efficiency and intelligent management as an option means missing out on opportunities for growth.
Participation in the RMEF confirmed that today, IT and energy are at a point of growth where joint solutions can ensure both technological independence and sustainable development.
Simpl continues its dialogue with industry partners and offers flexible, strategically important IT tools adapted to the real tasks of energy companies.
