From May 8 to 11, Tehran hosted one of the largest oil and gas exhibitions, IRAN OIL SHOW 2025. This year, more than 2,000 Iranian and foreign companies participated in the event. Simpl Group was part of the Russian delegation that presented domestic technologies and digital solutions for energy and oil production.
The business program was organized by the Iranian Department of Innovation and Technology (iHiT) and Interbrain LLC. Over the three days of the business mission, Simpl representatives held talks with more than 60 companies, including industry leaders. The meetings resulted in preliminary agreements on cooperation.
“The level of IT solutions and interest in technological partnerships is impressive: in many areas, local companies are already comparable to Russian ones, and in terms of the pace of digital development, there are already successful solutions in place. More and more attention is being paid to building an ecosystem and digitizing processes. We hope to implement such projects together,” said Artem Shilyaev, head of the international division at Simpl Group.
Interest in Russian IT solutions is high, and Iranian companies’ desire for technological sovereignty opens up opportunities for dialogue between the countries.
